What is Evolution?

“We began as a mineral.
We emerged into plant life, and into the animal state, and then into being human, and always we have forgotten our former states, except in early spring when we slightly recall being green again.
That’s how a young person turns towards a teacher.
That’s how a baby leans toward the breast, without knowing the secret of its desire, yet turning instinctively.
Humankind is being led along an evolving course, through the migration of intelligences, and though we seem to be sleeping, there is an inner wakefulness that directs the dream, and that will eventually startle us back to the truth of who we are.”

The Year of 9: Digital Root [#2]

In my previous introductory blog post I briefly mentioned that this year, 2016 is the Year of 9 because the digital root of 2016 is 9.

Some of you may or may not have fully understood what I meant by digital root and so this second blog post is solely for the purpose of clarity.

Especially since grasping the concept of the digital root is the crux of this entire blog series entitled: The Year of 9.

So let's get right to it shall we?

What exactly is a digital root?

A digital root is the mathematical method of recursively adding together all of the digits of a number until only a single digit remains.

The remaining number is what is known as the digital root.

Hence,

2 + 0 + 1 + 6 = 9

Additionally, when you multiply any number by 9, then add the resulting digits and reduce them to a single digit, it always becomes a 9.

I.E.

6 x 9 = 54,
reduce 54 to a single digit by adding them together: 5 + 4 = 9.

Similarly, 8 x 9 = 72, and 7 + 2 = 9.

Or 23 x 9 = 207, 2 + 0 + 7 = 9, and it goes on and on and on and on.

There is nothing coincidental about this peculiarity.

Try it for yourself.

Go ahead,

Pick a number,

Multiply it by 9,

Add up the digits until there's only one left,

I’ll wait.

Told you.

Any number, no matter how large, when multiplied by 9 reduces to a digital root of 9.

From a numerical perspective, the 9 pretty much takes over, kinda like the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.

No other number has this remarkable quality.

Perhaps Tesla had a point. Could these numbers unlock the secrets of the Universe?

“If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would have the key to the universe.” - Nikola Tesla

The number 9 is the last number in a base 10 which is the last and limit of all that is.

It is a sacred number, the number of fulfilment and a symbol of wisdom.

The number nine reveals a linear duality for it is both the singularity as well as the vacuum.

It models ‘every’ thing and ‘no’ thing simultaneously.

In our next post we will further explore the significance of the number 9 as it pertains to Nature and the Universe.

Give thanks for continued revelations...

Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
