What is Evolution?

“We began as a mineral.
We emerged into plant life, and into the animal state, and then into being human, and always we have forgotten our former states, except in early spring when we slightly recall being green again.
That’s how a young person turns towards a teacher.
That’s how a baby leans toward the breast, without knowing the secret of its desire, yet turning instinctively.
Humankind is being led along an evolving course, through the migration of intelligences, and though we seem to be sleeping, there is an inner wakefulness that directs the dream, and that will eventually startle us back to the truth of who we are.”

Internal Politics

It's been a while. I know. I've been preoccupied lately. But it only takes a second to get back to One.

:)

Recently I got to thinking about the in-side. Versus the outer side of course. Which led to ideas of dimensions and restrictions then to limitations so I decided to break free of those chains and perceive the truth from a different plane.

I absolutely abhor politics. Which is not to say that I disagree with having a system of governance but only inasmuch as it serves and observes the whole. What I disagree with is fallacy. Blatant fallacy in the face of imbalance, injustice and an unjust fight for power.

Which is what it all boils down to. The power to make ones own decisions. To completely encapsulate ones true essence. This is what it truly means to be free. To disengage from a set of directions that do not suit you. That do not lead you to your ultimate goal.

Being on the inside AND myopic is a disadvantaged way to view the world. Stuck in your own reality you quickly lose track of the system in which you are made to function.

To ever truly appreciate this world in which we live you first have to know yourself. For who else can see and love you more than the person with whom you are the most intimate. Now take that love and multiply it then apply it to all other selves. Without feelings of pomp or self-import. Love endlessly and restlessly. Do not be deterred by feelings of pride.

Feel, Speak and Do from a place of Knowing. Don't get caught up in the he says, she says, we say of negative thinking. We all have shit to deal with... individually. We all have our own issues, hangups and neuroses. And that's understandable. After all, we're all beloved creatures of a kind, gentle and sensitive Creator who experiences everything through us. Imagine interacting with yourself in many different forms. See yourself as a bird gliding on the wind, a tree hugging the sky, the smoke as it dances upon the flame. The wave crashing upon the shore. Be your neighbour and your friend. Be one with all Creation. Soon you will see that this is all there is.

The grass is always greener on the brighter side.

I in I

Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
